Real-time Animated Virtual Environments

RAVEs (Real-time Animated Virtual Environments) is our name for the environments that we create onstage. The stage is generally configured as the basic stage setup. We use bespoke technology to produce a video projection that is projected over the whole stage setup. This creates the illusion that onstage performers inhabit the environment depicted in the projection.

Within the RAVEs performers can appear to inhabit surreal virtual worlds, which may move as though the live performers are really traveling through them. In addition, the sophisticated visual language that we are accustomed to viewing in cinema, can also be used in our RAVEs to convey powerful narratives in what we call our Virtual Reality Theatre.
